Look at the photo in message #14446. Here are 2 of the racing heads, both are round. Though one has holes for 2 plugs.

Here are links to a few pics that might show heads similar to yours. All these are in the members photos section of the club site. Both these types are stock heads from what are nicknamed Harley hummers. You may have to cut & paste between the Quotation marks. There are a few racing heads in pics that are rounder but the ones I saw have 2 "plugs" holes.

The spark plug is straight up. any Ideas

Could it be a racing head? Pic might help. (and include the stud hole dimensions, it may fit another engine).

The 125(s) have a tipped spark plug (generally) some racing heads have a second plug hole maybe used for pressure relief valve.

I recently aquired a cylinder head that was supposed to be a 125 and it is more round than egg shaped. The 48 - 53 heads are egg shaped pt#16652-47-53. Any body got any info on this round head?
