Gene: Lots of differences in the fenders. Some major, some minor. 48-50 fenders are narrow and shallow in cross section compared to the 51 and up. The differences after that were were mainly in end flare or tip contour, tail light shroud, length, etc. There was one radius change for the 16 in. wheels used in the 60's. You can get a better idea of those changes by looking at pictures in Harley's book, THE LEGEND BEGINS. Duane Taylor ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- there is several how to restore chapters, but none on the sheet metal fenders. is there differences from year to year? obviously scat fenders for example are different, but any other differences? thabks in advance.
