If you heat the rod in the oven to around 225 degrees after putting the bearings in the freezer for a few hours beforehand it makes putting the two together much easier. Allow both to come back to room temperature before using.

The upper bore on both the 24207-47(1)or(2) are the same. Approximately.745 and the GB-910 needle bearings are what I removed in engines I have taken apart. GB-910 bearings have an OD of .750 and it is a press fit. if that helps.
