True, the bars have '51 part numbers, but were not offered until the '52 model year. But they could be retrofitted to any previous year model. So yes, I was wrong on the '52year fitment. They first appear in the '52 supplement as fitting '52.

You're wrong Robbie, the buckhorn bars came out in 1951, so would be correct for 1951 and later models

Despite everyone believing that the internet is always right...
Buckhorn bars did not yet exist in the '48-'52 time frame.
The parts books are correct...the eBay seller is not.

I have a question. The ad indicates that they are for '48 to '52. I have been under the impression that all of the Buckhorn bars are the same. Would these be correct for my '56 165 or is the ad correct. How can you tell?
