The kill switch is the little button on the magneto cover - just in front of the points "porthole". The button pushes a piece of spring steel (inside the magneto cover) against the wire terminal on the points, shorting the points to ground. High tech!

If your button is missing, take off the magneto cover (#3 Phillips screwdriver, NOT #2), and see if the "spring" is still in there. If so, you might be able to fabricate a new button.

I am messing around with a 62 pacer. we've got it running but there is no kill switch, how do i shut it off without just making it stall? could you would you please send me some more info on this.
