I went to the dmv-they gave me a whole bunch of papers- very extensive and expensive- I've done nothing with them yet! give me the phone number and address of this company. i'll sure appreciate it!!! GOD BLESS you and your family!!! truly, mike ploeger

So Brian do you live in IL but your bikes are licenced in FL?

IL. IS a Problem State to get an untitled bike Titled.
25 Years experience doing it.
It Can be done with the NH Title Servces where you pay
them to Sell it back to you. Getting the needed Paper
Work to Get It Done in IL.

Do Not go to the State DMV Office.
Take your New Paperwork to a Title Exchange Office.
They will process anything/everything for a fee.

But most of my herd of bikes now have FL. Plates.

IL. State with that different Insurance Policy for each
Different Bike got too Crazy for me and mine.
Florida is easy. And one Insurance Policy covers
everybody.

Good Luck,

To further answer your question I'll give you the bad
news: If your State is a problem State (like New Jersey)
you'll have to use a Titling Service and the charge will
be around $400. DON'T use any of the ones out of Las
Vegas, NV as they're known rip offs (I lived there). The
good news is it can be done. The members here will tell
you their experiences and give you advice.

We haven't put together a list of exact details per State
yet. My advice is to call your local Department of Motor
Vehicles and ask the procedure. If there are any members
here from Illinois PLEASE relate your experiences.

I'm in Illinois.

It all depends on the State you're in. Some are easy,
some
are impossible without using a titling service.

I'm looking at buying a Hummer but it has no title.
Apparently these were sold without a title back in the
day
- just a bill of sale. Anyway what are the problems I
might encounter if I buy a bike without a title?
