PETER: IF YOU HAVE A PARTS BOOK I SUGGEST YOU MAKE A LIST OF THE PARTS YOU NEED AND E-MAIL THE LIST. I WILL ADVISE WHAT I HAVE AND GIVE YOU A QUOTE. IN ADDITION, I WILL SUGGEST OTHER SOURCES SO YOU CAN GET OTHER OPINIONS AND/OR QUOTES. I AM IN SALEM, OREGON SO IF YOU ARE HEADED NORTH, THIS MAY BE ON YOUR WAY. I DO NOT HAVE AN OPEN SHOP BUT YOU CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TIME AND COME TO THE SHOP WHERE I MAKE PARTS FOR THESE BIKES. YOU COULD INSPECT THE PARTS WITH THAT VISIT. FYI: I DOUBT IF YOU WILL FIND ANY PARTS FOR YOUR 48S MODEL AT ANY HARLEY DEALERSHIP. VERY FEW WOULD EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT. I'll be travelling from Los Angeles and going North, starting in May. Can anyone tell me if there are stores where I can buy parts over the counter? I prefer that to buying on the internet.
