The top nut has nothing to do with the handlebars. Look for a nut/bolt UNDER the top plate. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- ive got a 62 hummer bought a replacement handle bar...it wont tighten up when i tighten top nut. bar still moves in the socket and info appreciated ..thanks
