My older brother bragged that his 48S is older than he is. And it IS! (But not by much). Wayne had his 48S restored the same year I had my 56B restored. Bruce Mackenzie did both restorations in 2009. The boxes containing my 56B were delivered to Bruce's shop in Dekalb, IL, the VERY SAME DAY Wayne was there delivering his bike to Bruce for its restoration!
