Nice Bobcat. Clean the plate-to-coil plates & all electrical connections. Mine didn't spark so I measured then took the points off, cleaned everything put it all back together & I got spark, just not timed. no key on the rotor. While you've got it off check that the magnito coils have continuity and no grounding. Stan's solution is common remember it's been 55 years since latest charging of the magnets.

NEW GUY HERE AND IM LOST AFTER TAKING BIKE TO MY LOCAL HARLEY DEALER. I HAVE NO SPARK ON MY BOBCAT BUT WAS TOLD THEY GOT SPARK WHEN THEY POWERED THE CONDENSER WITH A BATTERY. BEING TOLD I NEED THE MAG RE-ENERGIZED AND THEY DONT KNOW WHERE TO GET THAT DONE, BUT THEY DON'T SEEM VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ON THE OLDER BIKES AS I WAS TOLD I NEEDED THE SAME SERVICE ON MY TOPPER AND I FIXED IT BY SANDING THE POINTS. I HAVEN'T ATTEMPTED TO SAND THE BOBCAT'S YET AS I JUST GOT IT BACK FROM THEM, HOPING TO SOAK UP SOME OF THE KNOWLEDGE FROM ANY AND ALL THAT MAY BE ABLE TO HELP! THANK YOU!
