Doug, Are you looking at the hummer on craigslist in AZ? I also live in Tucson and think I have seen the it. The craigslist one is a 165c, looks to be a 53-59 generator model with the switch in the tank. It seems to be modified for trail riding. Are you looking for a hummer project? Give me a call 520-449-1458. Herman ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- No access to any pic but the Hummers were used with large rear sprockets as hillclimbers. The mesh over the rear wheel may be a protection layer to keep the riders foot from getting stuck in the spokes. There may also be a set of rear pegs. Doug ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I'm looking at a possibly very old Hummer for sale here in Tucson. I think it's about 90%, give or take, but it's got an aprox. 12 inch rear sprocket and covered by a mesh cage that wraps over and around the rear fender...... Can ANYONE tell me what this is other than the worlds slowest Hummer??????? |
