I did. Nothing. I'm thinking there's a insulting washer or something I didn't put back correctly. When I put my volt meter on the coil wire and kick the bike over I maybe get 2 volts. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- put the old condencer back in. If you then have spark your new one is bad. There are bad new ones. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I can't get spark. I had a big spark at the points so I changed the condenser. Now I'm getting no spark. When i test for resistance at the i ignition coil and lighting coil leads i get 0.0 or 0.1 ohms. Is that correct or should I get more? What could have gone wrong just changing the condenser ? It's a 1958 125 hummer with magnito and external coil. |
