I used regular Rustoleum on mine three years ago and its still going strong. I can't say if anything mite be better. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Just for clarification, the HD manual states that no head gasket should be used on a 1960 Super 10 but instead only aluminum paint. What brand or type of high temp paint should be used? ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Use high heat aluminum paint. You don't want a loss of compression or oozing from the gasket sealer to happen. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Thanks to CJ and Robbie for their suggestion of Hondabond gasket sealer for the crankcase halves. Would I have to use the "High Temperature" Hondabond for the cylinder head or is the regular version okay here as well? The HD manual says to use "aluminum paint"! |
