My name is Furchtlos Botazofa, everyone calls me Fearless or Fears for |
short. I was the one who wrote the message about Mr Stan Waite.
Recently I did a legal name change because I'm a student who is almost
graduating from university and the field I am going into works better for me
without having to be questioned about my name all the time. So I changed
it to Jack.
I hired Mr Stan Waite to rebuild my engine for me. For more than two years
I've tried to get him to contact me to answer questions I had, to get info for
my insurance company regarding the work done and to include what race
parts are in the engine. I've talked with Tammy and she tells me Stan will
call me the next day. I've facebooked him and see he reads my messages
and doesn't reply. I've done this for more that two years!
Now I've finally got the engine running after working with 2 mechanics and
I've literally got gas and smoke puking out of the cylinder gasket. The
points were messed up and one needed to be replaced, one of the coil
packs were bad and the Webco race head he had polished for me I can
now see was cracked all the way down one side.
I'd love to have a two sided story here as well Dave BUT
UNFORTUNATELY THE OTHER SIDE HAS TAKEN MY MONEY, NEVER
GIVEN ME A PROPPER ACCOUNT OF WHAT WAS DONE TO THE
ENGINE AND HAS IGNORED MY CALLS AND MESSAGES FOR MORE
THAN TWO YEARS AND I HAVE A COMPLETELY LIKE NEW REBUILT
ENGINE THAT I HAVE TO PAY TO SHIP BACK TO THE STATES TO BE
REBUILT PROPPERLY AND I AM OUT 1400.00 ON THE FIRST REBUILD
SO I GUESS I CAN SEE HOW I WAS BEING UNFAIR BY ACTUALLY
LETTING THE COMMUNITY KNOW MY SIDE OF THINGS.
I AM NO LONGER ACCEPTING BEING RIPPED OFF BY ANYONE.
----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS -----
Someone named "Jack" (no last name given) posted an inflammatory
message regarding his private business dealings with Stan Waite.
The webmasters deleted the inappropriate message. This is not the place
to present one-sided allegations.
Jack - a better course of action would have been to contact the
webmasters. While we do not get in the middle of contractual disputes
(that's the job of the courts), we can privately discuss the problem with both
sides, and see if some resolution can be reached.
Feel free to contact us. We'll see if there's anything we can do to help.
