I haven't had a claim so I don't know how they would react if I filed one. I do know that they are very nice people on the phone, and they understand that my hearing is almost nil. I usually pay by credit card over the net. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I've had my insurance with J.C. Taylor for so long I don't know if what I'm about to say is still in effect. Years ago when I got my policy it was their practice to insure any motorcycles after 4 for no extra charge (Basing their rates on obviously the 4 most expensive). I never made it passed the magic 4 but it might be worth asking them if you plan on having a number of toys. ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- Jim, I haven't seen Classic advertised anywhere, but on a closer look, they're in the same business as the "Big Three". Maybe they're less expensive too. https://www.classicins.com Looking around, I see that State Farm now offers classic car insurance. Not sure if they cover motorcycles. https://www.statefarm.com/insurance/auto/antique-classic- cars Even Progressive is in the antique game now. But Progressive seems to just shop it out to Hagerty. https://www.progressive.com/classic-car-insurance Please share your experiences with these companies with us! Dave ----- ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS ----- I have 4 bikes insured with Classic Automobile Insurance Agency of Indianapolis and it is only $180 per year four the 4. |
