I haven't had a claim so I don't know how they would react if I filed one. I do know that they are very nice people on the phone, and they understand that my hearing is almost nil. I usually pay by credit card over the net.

I've had my insurance with J.C. Taylor for so long I
don't know if what I'm about to say is still in effect.
Years ago when I got my policy it was their practice to
insure any motorcycles after 4 for no extra charge
(Basing their rates on obviously the 4 most expensive). I
never made it passed the magic 4 but it might be worth
asking them if you plan on having a number of toys.

Jim,

I haven't seen Classic advertised anywhere, but on a
closer look, they're in the same business as the "Big
Three". Maybe they're less expensive too.

Looking around, I see that State Farm now offers classic
car insurance. Not sure if they cover motorcycles.

Even Progressive is in the antique game now. But
Progressive seems to just shop it out to Hagerty.
