if the plate is still on the wheel and its still on the
bike it wont cum out that way you will have to losen the
axel and back the plate out some to get it to clear the
lip on the drum

The grease fitting doesn't secure the speedo cable.
The grease fitting threads into part number 67110-49,
which secures the
speedo cable.

Is there a trick to removing the speedo
cable from. the front
housing? Yes I removed the grease fitting. It's stuck in
there real hard and
I'm worried I'm going to squash the end of the cable.
