Identify This Harley

Postby MrMarty51 » Sun Mar 19, 2023 10:55 am

A friend took a trip to California and took this picture when he and his GF was looking at different sites.
Just curious as to what model of a Harley it is.

That looks like small cc, 2-stroke single imported by Harley-Davidson in the 1960’s. They were what replaced the American 2-stroke singles of the 1940’s and 1950’s. Aermacchi was the company in Italy.

That was the only pic that He took of the building. I expanded the pic on my phone then did a screen shot with mainly the motorcycle.
I have another pic of the Hollywood Harley Davidson dealer building that is the full image.
I ent the pic, via text to this tablet but it aint arrived over here yet.
In the mean time, I'll do a search, see if anything comes up for the store front.

The big red message tells me the file is too big. So no pic of the Hollywood store front.
Late tonight, after the info highway traffic slows some I’ll try again to post the link, or a store pic of the motorcycle in question.

It's a M-50 or M-65. 50cc or 65cc. Year '66 or newer. '65 only can in red.

Yep, you're right Keith. The RAPIDO was a 125, also made by Aermacci for Harley Davidson.
