Finally got the little Super 10 all together. Been working on this project for quite a while.
Lucky for me I have a Guardian Angel on my shoulder named Mutt who has been a great source of parts and a shitton of information. Mutt also rebuilt my flywheels and punched out the cylinder as noted in earlier post. I probably should have sent the whole motor to him but I really wanted to give it a whack myself.
Everything seems good. Good compression. Good spark. But still trying to sort her out. It will start and run for about 5-6 seconds then stops. I'm thinking it's a fuel issue. Working on it...
Couple pics here showing her as she sits right now. Long way from where I found her.
Used as much of the original bike as possible. Went with the high level pipe and adapted the muffler. I know the muffler is not stock but I really like the look. The ignition switch was also original to the bike and OEM. Everything was re-wired from the ground up.
The funky triangular metal plates were on the bike when I found her. I left them alone as they are part of her history.
