I'm behind schedule, as if I had one. lol! I've had a few non-bike things going on that have slowed me down, including a major re-organization of parts and storage in the shop. Next week I plan to finish the paint work and get the gas tank installed on the Scat and then I'm going to kick it to life! The Pacer motor is still sitting on my workbench.

I know this is an old thread but I’m going to try fin repair on my cylinder. I have cut out some pieces to the shape I need for repair blanks out of 1/8 flat stock. But I’m curious what other people have done to make the repair piece look the same thickness as the fin that is being brazed to. Also a little off this topic but I’ve got new rings to install once I put the cylinder back onto the engine. Do I need to do a fresh cross hatching in the cylinder first. It only had a few miles on the rebore when I decided to take the cylinder off to fix the Finn’s.
