Git a Harley...

Postby ahauswald » Sun Dec 29, 2019 12:31 pm

...that is what Davey Pritchard's little sister used to always say to me... Davey rode an XLCH; his little sister rode a hummer, and I had a big crush on her.

Anyway, got that Harley in 1963. Traded my tired Triumph Tiger Cub in on a brand spanking new 1962 H-D Scat. As I recall, the dealership was Koch H-D. I was in the Air Force then at Lowry AFB, (Denver), Colorado.

So happy I came across this site. Sure brings back lots of good memories. Don't ride any more, but the fire for motorcycles hasn't gone out yet. Still carry a 'CM' designation on my driver license, just in case. Looking forward to reading and following along on all of your riding and resto adventures with hummers.

Cheers and Best Regards,
Arnold 'AC' Hauswald
