Hello and greetings. I purchased a 1958 St 165 from Hummer club member “flathead6” in July. With my added shipping problems, my Hummer arrived a month later at the end of August and added to the shipping woes, the bike refused to start. I got a kick or two with good spark and solid compression but it would not run. I enlisted my mechanic friend Greg and with a tank and carb clean out, we got it running. I must say it starts easy and is running strong. My Hummer’s vanity license tag from the State of Florida arrived yesterday “58HUMR”. I plan on taking it to the local car/motorcycle show at our local Harley dealer in Leesburg, FL at the end of December. Also, planning to bring it to AMCA event at Daytona in March. If you have a restored Hummer and might be interested in selling it, give me a call at 352-446-9764 I’m interested in acquiring a second. Happy motoring, Bob
