This is me

Postby Joep » Thu Jun 14, 2018 11:23 am

So I'm in the Netherlands trying to get a 1951 machine back on the road. I do this just for fun to reset my brain from the work I do which is inside the Computer Graphics environment.
Slowly but surely getting to the last parts of this project, which has been daunting at times being in Europe, but sofar all going good, with a bunch of help from the Harley hummer webstie and the people active down here.

So two pictures attached, how I started and where I am now (actually took out the parts to get painted this morning) I know the seat is wrong, but thats what I had so working with what I got, might change it in the future

Duane Taylor, who is in the members section of this site sells a very correct reproduction of your seat. He's a perfectionist, makes parts the exact same way Harley did. The judges can't tell the difference. He's your go-to guy for 125 parts. Has a lot of NOS parts for that model too.

I know, a lot of the replacement parts came from him ! He is indeed great for this.

As there are some more smaller bits and pieces I will need when doing all the remaining work, Im creating a list of what I need and very likely a seat will be in there as well, so maybe somebody else can be happy with the 48 seat

Cheers, Joep

Hey Joep, I am interested in your seat if you want to sell it. It would work fine for my '48 restore.
