left engine mount nut

Here's where to ask questions and get answers

left engine mount nut

I am cleaning up the frame on my 48 125, and noticed the rear lower mount nut is brazed to the mount. Left side. Is this one of those almost impossible nuts to get at when installing the engine? Stan

I forget which side it's on, thought it was the right, but I've got several bikes/frames and they're all like that. I reckon the factory thought it was worth the trouble to weld the nut to the frame rather than install it on the assembly line.

Thanks for clarifying, Mutt. Now I see why all my bikes/frames have the welded nut. They're all swing arm frames!
