48 rear sprocket

did all 48 models come with the rear sprocket held on with small bolts and nuts?, look like a number 10 screw. The nuts on mine look like they are welded to the small bolts. Is this normal, or did someone do this? Stan

I thought that was a little odd for Harley to bolt on the sprocket. Someone went to a lot of trouble to mill a recess in the sprocket for the nuts to clear. Stan

Harley dd that. It is a "replacement" sprocket, for those unfortunate enough to not have the rivet fixture like I do !!!

So this bolt on was done at the MOCO, or at a dealership?
I've never seen the bolt on sprocket anywhere on the early 125!
They must be rare as hens teeth!?

Part # 41476-52. It was made by Harley, sold at the dealer and either the dealer or the customer would install it. These came out just about the time the S model was phased out.
