The 1954 Model 165... A Spring Special date February 26, 1954 announced an optional two-tone paint scheme - the tank is Brilliant Black with a 3" wide Daytona Ivory stripe encircling the tank, fenders and fork panel are Daytona Ivory. |

The 74510-47 voltage regulator is about 2.5 inches square. The cover is held on by bend-over tabs. This style was used from 1948 until 1954.

Optional Colors: None

Undocumented Colors: There exists the possibility that the factory produced some bikes with "two-tone" paint schemes listed for KH/74 OHV/Servi-Car only.
